Since October 31st, 1999 when the Tennessee Iota Phi Chapter of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity was born, we have grown into a group that produces leaders like none other on Belmont's campus. Our mission is best stated in our national creed:

Iota Phi Mission Statement:

Through binding relationships based upon eternal and immutable principles, we will strive to reach our highest potential. We will refuse to sacrifice the quality of character we demand from each other and we will refuse to jeopardize the integrity of the group through compromising words and actions. We vow to honor our pledge to the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity.
